The USVI has a menu of tax incentives sanctioned by the Federal Government to stimulate investment in the territory. The Economic Development Commission oversees a host of programs with benefits such as:
- 90% Reduction in Personal Income Tax
- 90% Reduction in Corporate Income Tax
- 100% Exemption from Excise Tax
- 100% Exemption from Business Property Tax
- 100% Exemption on Gross Receipts Tax,
- Reduction in Customs Duty from 6% to 1%
